bhedaghat a marvel of nature

soaring in the glittering splendor, the marble rocks at bhedaghat rise to a hundred feet on both sides of the holy river narmada .it is one of the major tourist attractions in jabalpur situated  20 km from the main city.the marble rocks on both sides of the river glitter with sun light and produce a magical effect on moonlights . boating is the main activity here with the glittering marble rocks on both sides of the placid water its truly is an experience worth remembering.
bhedaghat could soon find itself amongst the coveted list of UNESCO'S world heritage sites revised list of WHS in india has raised the hopes of the state government, which is preparing to sell its major tourist draw as the fittest under the natural category bhedaghat is one of the only three sites that made it to the pan india nomination this time.
 The site offers a very  unique view, offering one of the greatest breathtaking views of mighty river Narmada falling from a height of 105ft and rushing with full fury through magnificent white marble rock hills creating a deep dent and huge gorge resulting in the formation of a natural and geographical phenomenon seen nowhere else in the world. Bhedaghat is also known internationally for its archaeological wealth that dates since pre-historic times.
